Remnants of Hysteria or Pretentious Fucking Trash

Remnants of Hysteria or Pretentious Fucking Trash (2019) is an 83 hour long durational performance piece and installation that uses banal actions, disturbing humor, and unarchival materials to create a shared space for the performer and audience to experience a fleeting moment together. I spend the 83 hours of this performance peeling self-portrait photographs (candid and posed) off of an 8.5’ x7.25’ x 2.5’ ft 4 sided wall. This piece is a monolith in terms of time, space, and sheer number of photographs used.

The stars aligned it was exactly how i had always pictured it beautiful and romantic my scarf a pile of snow and the ocean a razor i was going to be just like isadora they dried me out for 83 hours felony lines abundant and an unwanted dick in my ass before and after i lived between my dreams and nightmares there is no other option and there is no end
